Batting Stances

Every batter has their own batting stance. The players feel comfortable in it. When I play baseball my stance is a mix between Yunel Escobar and Mark Trumbo. I am a fan of Kevin Youkilis, but how he hits with that stance puzzles me. Kevin has his feet fairly normal but his right hand is high on the bat. When the pitcher starts his wind-up, Kevin slowly moves his hand down the bat and smacks the ball over the green monster. There is no incorrect batting stance, what feels comfortable to hit with is a good stance. Several batters have odd stances, in my opinion, such as Aaron Rowand and Carlos Quentin.
