2012 NHL Trade Deadline List

The 2012 NHL trade deadline came to an end with a fairly disappointing 15 trades. In other years there would be between 20-30 trades but this year it was pretty slow. The first trade wasn’t announced until 10:37am  and the second didn’t come until 12:45pm. It was a pretty boring day but I still decided to write a list of all the trades since 8:00am.

In total there were 15 trades, 31 players aquired and 11 draft picks acquired. The busiest teams were Vancouver, Anaheim, Tampa Bay, Buffalo and Nashville. No Rick Nash, no Dustin Brown, no Ales Hemsky, no Luke Schenn, no Derek Roy and no Steve Ott, that puts a wrap to a slow 2012 NHL trade deadline.
